Springing Into the Future
Approximately 160 students charted their academic futures
March 3 by attending the spring Academic Open House. Held March 3 in the Holland
Union Building (HUB), the event helped students select a major by connecting
them with professors and students from 47 programs on campus.
The open
house was open to first- and second-year students who had not yet declared their
majors as well as newly admitted members of the incoming class of 2015. The
incoming first-year students had come to campus to take part in Enrolled
Students Preview Day, a pre-Orientation event that included an informational
session, a reception, student-life tours and optional workshops for parents.
