Before you may apply to study abroad for a semester or academic year, or request a meeting with a study abroad advisor, you must attend an Abroad Prep session, which are offered throughout the year and over the summer.
Abroad Prep provides an overview of Dickinson's philosophy of education abroad and gives students the tools for selecting the best academic opportunity for their off-campus studies. Abroad Prep sessions are approximately 30 minutes with a study abroad advisor. You may attend a session at any time; students are encouraged to attend no later than the fall semester of their sophomore year. Summer sessions are conducted over the internet or you may choose to call in to the session via phone.
