Paula grew up in Wareham, Massachusetts the youngest of two. She attended Emory University (Atlanta, GA) earning a BA in psychology. Later she began a graduate program at Penn State Harrisburg, in their Community Psychology & Social Change program. She has been with the College since the fall of 2006.
Her professional interests include working with students on identityexploration particularly around race and gender, allywork with LGBTQ communities, and leadership development in the context of diversity social justice work.
Outside of work she enjoys reading (favorite book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho), dance, watching reality television, and most importantly spending time with her husband, Norm (also a Dickinson employee), step son Jayson, son Caleb, and dog-a boxer named Kobi.
