Medical Transporation Options

Non-Emergency Medical Van

The medical van takes students to and from doctor’s appointments, pharmacies, and other health related appointments. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. during the regular semester. Students may make arrangements for this service through the Wellness Center .

Student Safety Shuttle

The student safety shuttle operates seven days a week from 9:00 p.m. through 3:00 a.m. during the regular semester. The shuttle is designed to pick up and drop off students between various locations within the Borough of Carlisle. To request a pick up from the student shuttle, please call 717-961-9646 between the hours of operation.

Taxi Services

Students needing non-emergency transportation to the hospital, a doctor or a pharmacy related to a medical issue when the Medical Van and/or the Safety Shuttle are not in operation, may call Public Safety for assistance.  Through an arrangement with Moonlight Taxi, a taxi will provide this service, and will be paid by Public Safety with vouchers funded by the office of the Vice President of Student Development.
