Although Kiara '21 (international business & management, Chinese) and Kiana Smith '21 (international studies, Spanish) are twins, they didn’t go to the same high school. But they knew they wanted to attend the same college. And as it turns out, they made perfect roommates.
“I think we complement each other very well,” says Kiana, noting that there are “a lot” of twins at Dickinson. “We’re similar but opposites at the same time.”
Now that their time at Dickinson has come to an end, it’s not just the twins marveling at their experiences over the last four years.
“It seems like just yesterday that we brought them here and dropped them off,” says their dad, Leon. “They were girls, but now they’re leaving as really dynamic, strong, young African American women.”
