And the Winner is ...
The Green Energy Challenge drew to a close March 30 with a bonfire celebration and awards ceremony on Britton Plaza. Students in Kisner-Woodward captured the Dickinson Green Cup—and won $500 to revamp KW’s student lounge—for achieving an electricity savings of 42.90 percent, based on March 2011 electricity rates. Malcolm Hall and McKenney Suites earned second- and third-place honors, with 39.77- and 38.30-percent reductions, respectively.
