Memory Book
Please fill in the online questionnaire to share your reflections on your Dickinson experience, as well as life updates since graduating 50 years ago. The information you submit will be incorporated into a Memory Book keepsake, which will be made available electronically to everyone in the class and distributed at the reunion to those who request a printed copy. Even if you don’t attend the reunion, please share your reflections! All memory book entries and accompanying photos must be submitted by April 21.
Share Your Photos
Send us photos that we can use in our dinner slideshow. You can upload them to this Google folder. You can also post them in our Dickinson College Class of 1975 Facebook Group (please join it if you haven’t done so)! We welcome photos from our time as students, reunions, friend gatherings, or whatever else you want to share. We want the whole class represented, so the more photos, the better!
Reunion Events
Our 50th is a special milestone and we are looking forward to spending time together. We will kick off the weekend with a class dinner and tour at the College Farm on Thursday, June 12. Friday events include a Trout Gallery tour led by our classmate Eric Denker, panel discussions on topics of current interest, the Alumni Awards Ceremony, and the all-alumni welcome reception and celebration dinner. On Saturday afternoon, we’ll have the opportunity to spend time together on Drayer porch (adjacent to our class lounge in Drayer) and at the Quad party, and on Saturday evening, please join us for our class photo at 5:45, followed by a cocktail hour, our class dinner, and dance party with Bradley. When you are not otherwise occupied with scheduled events, we hope you’ll spend time in our class lounge to reminisce and catch up with classmates.

The Bower is a public garden located on a 36-acre meadow and woodland site on the north slope of the Appalachian Mountains in Perry County, Pennsylvania (30 minutes north of Carlisle). A sanctuary where art and nature intertwine, The Bower is in its fifth year as a public garden and rural nature preserve, featuring woodlands, a naturalized meadow landscape, native plant gardens, and large-scale commissioned sculptures and land art. Visit thegardenbower.com for more information.
There is no fee for this event, but space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Please indicate when you register if you will be driving on your own or if you would like college-provided transportation. A 12 p.m. return to campus is expected.

Old West Society members turn their estate planning into impact planning, establishing a permanent legacy at Dickinson in support of students. Anyone can join the society by confirming an estate or planned gift to Dickinson. This luncheon, held during Alumni Weekend every year, is a wonderful tradition that brings together OWS members for an enjoyable lunch and terrific company.

Class of 1975 Private Event: 50th Reunion Panel & Group Discussion *
Our class arrived in Carlisle as youthful eager students to be prepared for our adulthood via a private liberal arts education. Certainly, we benefited, albeit to varying degrees, and came to lean on that education throughout our personal and professional lives. This weekend we return as proud alumni and donors eager to understand how a liberal arts education, costly as it has become, remains a valuable, relevant and foundational building block for the future. In this session, we’ll learn how the Dickinson liberal arts experience has evolved via recent curriculum enhancements and discuss how these enhancements serve to maintain the relevance of a liberal arts education in these times and beyond.
While this is an event for members of the class of 1975, guests and friends in surrounding class years are welcome to attend.

Alumni College Sessions
- Collecting for the College: Prints of New York, Paris, and Italy
Session and tour led by Eric Denker ’75
This gallery talk will delve into the works of significant yet often underappreciated artists who have explored the essence of historic cities through the populist art of etching. By curating an extensive collection of exceptional pieces by lesser-known artists, we aim to provide a valuable resource for both students and faculty, offering a rich avenue for discovering the diverse potential of artistic expression. While works by renowned artists such as Winslow Homer, James Whistler, and Honoré Daumier are important to include, it is the substantial collections of artists like August Lepère, Fabio Mauroner, Grace Albee, John Taylor Arms, Ellen Day Hale, and Lida Moser that offer students the opportunity to engage with original works not yet thoroughly explored or documented in the established history of art. This talk will underscore the significance of these lesser-known artists and their contributions to the field of etching, allowing for a deeper appreciation of their role in depicting the essence of historic urban landscapes.
Preregistration is required. Space is limited (30 people).
