We are pleased to present the digital version of this book announcing the public phase of the First in America: Fulfilling Our Destiny capital campaign. This book captures the atmosphere of excitement at Dickinson—in recent years Dickinson has gone farther, faster than its peers, and the world is taking note.
This campaign—which is three times the size of Dickinson’s last effort—is providing critical resources for the college in four transformational areas: significant growth of the Annual Fund; new endowed scholarships; new endowed faculty chairs; and the keystone phase of the Rector Science Campus.
The exciting news is that we have already surpassed $135 million on the way to our goal of $150 million.
Our current progress exemplifies the high level of commitment that many have made to Dickinson, yet our work for this campaign has only begun. We, the alumni, parents and friends of the college, must be committed to providing the resources to finish this campaign.
We hope you enjoy the First in America book and that you will be inspired to read other campaign stories and news on the First in America Web site.
