The Clarke Forum for Contemporary Issues — The Clarke Forum connects the students and faculty of Dickinson College and members of the broader community with scholars, practicing professionals and activists through lectures, seminars and conferences. learn more
Community Studies Center — The goal of the CSC is to coordinate, support, promote and highlight community-based fieldwork among faculty and students in collaboration with communities both close to home and across continents. learn more
Center for Sustainability Education — Established in 2008 with a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and matching funds from the college, the center is focused on a curricular initiative to make study of the environment a defining characteristic of a Dickinson education. learn more
Humanities Collective — The Humanities Collective is composed of faculty from a variety of disciplines across the college with the goal strengthening research and teaching in the humanities and supporting interdisciplinary collaboration among humanities faculty and faculty in other disciplines. learn more
The Trout Gallery — The Trout Gallery is both an educational branch of Dickinson College and a fine-arts museum for the Carlisle / Harrisburg area. The gallery, along with housing Dickinson’s permanent collections of art — which range in time from classical Greece to the 20th century — maintains a varied exhibition schedule of historical, contemporary and multicultural materials and offers students hands-on curatorial experience. learn more
