Welcome to the East Asian Studies Page

At Dickinson, this major traditionally has focused on China and Japan, with four levels of language offered in each. In recent years, greater attention has been given to Korea through new course offerings and the development of a study abroad site. Students explore all three civilizations from multiple perspectives: contemporary politics and business, ancient religion and art, language, and literature.
