SCHOLARSHIP LIST
The following is a list of scholarships available to qualified applicants at Dickinson College:
2006-2007 Dickinson
Students Awarded Prestigious Scholarships
Information about scholarships and fellowships for students
at Dickinson College is available in two locations.
1) In general, the programs that require an extensive interview
and a nomination from Dickinson are coordinated by Dr. Shirley King
in the office of Academic Advising. This information is available
in the Academic
Advising Scholarship & Fellowship Handbook.
2)
Other scholarships for graduate school are listed on the Career
Center's website at http://www.ecampusrecruiter2.com/dickinson/index.php?script=local-login
Most
of the scholarship programs listed in the Handbook require
that you be nominated by
Dickinson
College
in order to compete for the scholarship. Conditions of eligibility
vary but most often include a GPA of at least 3.5, and being a
U.S.
citizen or permanent resident alien.
To
learn more about these scholarships and the application process,
spend some time looking at the different categories and individual
websites before making an appointment to visit with Dr.
King
in Biddle House (kings@dickinson.edu).
Please
note that several of the scholarship programs listed below identify
specific Dickinson faculty representatives. Please contact these
individuals for more detailed information about the awards.
The following list, arranged by class year, including graduates,
provides the scholar
ships
and fellowships appropriate to each class. Eligibility information,
campus deadlines, campus faculty representatives, and links to websites
