Certificate Programs

Global Study at Dickinson begins in the classroom.
Dickinson students utilize the timeless rigors of liberal learning
to confront the most critical problems of our globalized age.
Health Studies and Security Studies occupy a
conspicuous place on any list of 21st-century
challenges. Our certificate programs in these areas call upon
the tools and methods of a range of academic disciplines to examine
the ways in which the forces of globalization and global
institutions (such as the World Bank and the United
Nations) affect and respond to the disparate (and often competing)
needs and interests of different populations, cultures, and
countries.
