Honors in Chemistry Student Presentations ---- May 12, 2010

All presentations will take place in Stuart 1113 in the Rector Science Complex.

8:30 am      Melissa Dean will present "Synthesis and Reactivity of Two NAMI-A Derivatives". 

10:30 am    Alejo Lifschitz will present "Matrix Isolation FTIR Study of Weak Hydrogen Bonding in Thin Polyvinylpyridine Films".

2:30 pm      Jeff Rodgers will present "The Pyridine-Formic Acid Interaction:  A Matrix Isolation and Polymer Soft-Landing

Students Rush to Rush Hour

Chemistry Professors Sarah St. Angelo and Kristi Humphreys initiated and organized the very popular Interdisciplinary Science Seminars (Rush Hours).  They have had professors from biology, environmental science, physics, math, computer science, chemistry, and neuroscience speak about their current and future research.
