The Dickinson College Astronomy Club will host the March Star Party - "Life of a Comet!" on Friday, March 22nd in Tome Hall. The comet Pan-STARRS, one of the brightest comets in recent years, is taking a tour of our solar system and we hope to catch a glimpse with our telescopes and maybe even the naked eye (weather permitting). Observing on the Tome roof and the following planetarium shows will be offered:
7:15pm - "What's Up in the Sky"
7:45pm - A 45 minute planetarium show - TBD
8:45pm - "What's Up in the Sky"
9:15pm - A 45 minutes planetarium show - TBD
Event is free and open to the public.
