A double-feature presentation of Professor Pagano's Italian 232 class "Reading and Performing Italian Texts."

Professor Pagano's Italian 232 class will be performing two plays - the first is a melodrama of love and betayal set in 19th century Sicily, entitled "Cavalleria Rusticana," by Giovanni Verga and Pietro Mascagni, with a special apperance of the opera singer Fred Schlick, as Turiddu. The Sicilian tragedy will be follow by a hilarious contemporary farce by Nobel Prize winnder Dario Fo, entitled "NON TUTTI I LADRI VENGONO PER NUOCERE."
Both plays will be performed in Italian with English subtitles.
Light refreshments will be served after the performance.
