NASA's Curiosity Rover Readying to Drill Rocks on Mars!

How exciting is this? Curiosity is getting ready to drill into a martian outcrop.  The next two weeks should yield some great insight into the origins and history of the red planet.

Jeff Niemitz, Courtney Haynes ('09) and Everett Lasher ('11) published a paper entitle Legacy sediments and historic land use: Chemostratigraphic evidence for excess nutrient and heavy metal sources and remobilization in the January issue of Geology!
