ALT 101 - Alumni Leadership Training

Dickinson College relies on alumni to carry Dickinson with them beyond the limestone walls and to continue to support the mission of the college through active engagement. Alumni Leadership Training, or ALT 101, is a program designed to educate student leaders of the important role that alumni play in the life of the college and prepare current seniors to be the next generation of leaders in the alumni community. By attending monthly sessions with campus administrators and alumni leaders, participants in ALT 101 will gain a deeper understanding of the inner workings of the college and the ways in which they can stay actively involved with the Dickinson community after graduation.

ALT 101 participants will be asked to attend all sessions in business casual attire and be prepared to discuss alumni leadership roles with speakers. Participants will also be asked to commit to at least one alumni volunteer opportunity upon graduation and will be invited to join their first reunion committee. Participants are encouraged to provide feedback and ideas to enhance ALT 101 and to serve as role models to classmates by participating in Senior Campaign with a gift.

We are no longer accepting applications for the 2012 - 2013 ALT 101 sessions. If you are a member of the Class of 2014 and are interested in applying to the 2013 - 2014 sessions, please e-mail the planning committee at alumni@dickinson.edu.
