We know that for some people, the college search can be fun, exciting and exhilarating, while for others it can be difficult, challenging and a bit overwhelming. Our goal is to help you get to know Dickinson and make you more comfortable with this process. The following events are designed to be introductory visits to the college that will provide a dynamic illustration of the diversity of thought, action and being that is typified by Dickinson students.
During these events you will have opportunities to discover…

- the connections among people, ideas and disciplines that our students make
- what it means to engage the world near and far as a Dickinson student
- the civility in discourse and actions that is a hallmark of a Dickinson education

Wednesdays in July Visit Program

- Dickinson's distinctive approach to a liberal-arts education
- campus tours
- lunch in the Dining Hall
- a candid conversation with representatives of the Admissions Office and the Office of Financial Aid
- optional Forum opportunities
Approximate program duration: 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Fall 2008 Open Houses for Seniors
Please join us for one of our Open Houses. We are not going to tell you about Dickinson during your day on campus. Instead we will show you the “useful education” that makes us distinctive and engaging.
Dates: September 20, October 18, November 8
Highlights include:
- opening remarks and a challenge from President William G. Durden '71
- Dickinson's distinctive approach to a liberal-arts education
- campus tours
- lunch in the Dining Hall
- a candid conversation with representatives of the Admissions Office and the Office of Financial Aid
- an oportunity to hear from current students and faculty members about their experiences at Dickinson
