Middle East Studies

A multidisciplinary approach ensures that students acquire a broad understanding of the forces that have shaped the Middle East historically and continue to shape it today, while focusing on areas of particular interest to them. Alongside courses in history, other social sciences and the humanities, students study Arabic or Hebrew for at least two years and are encouraged to spend time in the region.
