Dickinson Classics faculty and students will be traveling together to the annual meeting of the Northeast Conference for Teachers of Foreign Languages
nectfl, April 20-23, in Baltimore, MD. Six members of our chapter of Eta Sigma Phi will be in attendance and will take a trip to the Walter’s Art Museum

The department will host a wine and snacks reception at NECTFL for all the classicists in attendance, Saturday April 21, in the conference hotel, the Marriott Waterfront, room 632. If you will be attending the conference, please join us. The reception will also serve as the roll-out party for the Dickinson College Commentaries

At the conference Prof. Francese will be giving a talk, “Digital Commentary on Classical Texts: Problems & Prospects” Sunday morning, April 23, 9:45-1-:45, and also co-conducting a three hour workshop on the new Advanced Placement Latin course, “The New AP Latin Course: Objectives, Strategies, and Assessment,” Saturday, April 22, 2:00-5:00 p.m., with Dawn LaFon.
