A new Wellness program option for Dickinson employees began on July 1, 2012, called the Boot Camp Monthly Pass. Please visit the Transformation Training & Fitness website, or send and email to mailbox@transformation-training.net to request more information or registration.

New for 2012 - 2013

Marathon in a Month! 

The Marathon in a Month program kicks-off on August 1, 2012! We can all finish a marathon (26.2 miles) w ithin one month. This walking program is designed for individuals who are looking to achieve a baseline fitness level. The goal is to complete the distance of a marathon within a thirty day time period... That is less than one mile a day.Completing Marathon in a Month counts as ten (10) points in the 2012-2013 Holistic Health Incentive Program (HHIP).

Marathon in a Month - Tracking Your Miles form

Each month one lucky participant will receive a $25 visa gift card! Please submit your results at the end of each month todevwell@dickinson.edu.

 

2012 Spring Into Fitness Challenge 

The 2012 Spring Into Fitness Challenge ran from March 5 through April 15, 2012 as a fun form of exercise and fun for the staff at Dickinson and several other local colleges and universities. We hope to offer this fitness challenge on an annual basis, and look forward to spring 2013 to kick-off another 6-week program. Wellness Week 2013

Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 19
Numerous wellness screenings will be held throughout the week along with workshops and information sessions. Please plan to explore and enjoy the multitude of free screenings offered. Many of the events are open to the entire campus community - students, faculty and staff. The annual Benefits and Wellness Fair will be held on Tuesday, April 16 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing an opportunity to meet with benefits providers as well as many of our wellness venders and program instructors.
